Is it safe to drink our teas while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Your health and well-being is a top priority for us. And although our loose leaf teas are as healthy as tea gets, it's always best to speak to your doctor for any personal health questions. We've enlisted detailed ingredients and caffeine levels for every tea variety directly on its respective product page. This way you have the all the info you need to ask your doctor whether specific ingredients and blends are right for you.

Are your teas gluten-free?

Absolutely. Of course! Although, be advised that our teas do not come from a certified gluten-free facility.

What's the difference between natural and artificial flavoring?

A key to feeling your best is to avoid food and beverages that contain chemicals and artificial ingredients. We're proud to offer Ecocert Canada and USDA certified organic premium loose leaf teas. We only blend with organic compliant natural essences (extracts), which means our teas do not contain artificial coloring, flavoring, and pesticides

Artificial flavoring contains synthetic components and/or chemicals of a flavor that are produced artificially from esters. Natural essences in our flavoured blends stabilize the flavor and are extracts obtained from the essential oils of organic compliant blossoms, fruits and plants. 

How long does your tea stay fresh?

Our loose leaf teas are packaged in aroma-tight sealed kraft pouches and will stay fresh up to 18 - 24 months. Teas should always be stored in a cool, dry, dark place and properly sealed to preserve and prolong their freshness. Exposure to sunlight, moisture, and heat is damaging to the teas.

Is your published pricing in Canadian currency?

All prices on our website are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD).

What payment options do you offer?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal. Our secure payment gateway requires a billing address that accompanies the issued credit card in order to complete your order. For PayPal payments, our site will direct you to your PayPal login page where you will complete payment. 

What is your Returns Policy?

If any of our products do not meet your expectations, we want to know. As such, please email customerservice@tealeafco.com, and include your order number and a description of the reason. We will gladly offer a credit note for your purchase within thirty (30) days of receipt of the returned merchandise.
